At the heart of the island of Maui are the lush green riverbeds and soaring mountains of the Iao Valley and the diverse climates of Central Maui. Traveling along the coast line and hiking the foothills of Central Maui you will discover the towns of Waiehu, Waihee, Waikapu ,Kahakaloa and Kahului, all of which offer their own special charm and diversity. The picturesque town of Wailuku, the County seat, reflects a myriad of architectural styles, from the historic plantation homes to the newer developments boasting panoramic ocean and mountain views.
The gated communities of Kahului, bordering one of Maui’s pristine Golf Courses, offer easy access to transportation and shopping. Kahului, as with all of the towns located in Central Maui, are within a short drive to the renowned Maui Arts and Cultural Center. The center is a venue, which offers world-class entertainment and cultural events, from the Vienna Boys Choir and the Eagles, to showcasing some of Maui’s amazing local artists.
With the diversity of climates, cultures and housing, Central Maui land offers a little something for everyone. The majority of real estate available for central Maui are homes and land, but there are a few condo complexes also available in the area.
