The 1500-acre Wailea Resort was conceived in the 1960’s as an integrated residential resort community. The master planned resort was ahead of its time by being one of the first to put together a community of low-rise condo and single-family villages with hotels, golf courses, tennis, restaurants and shopping.

Wailea and Makena sit on the south shore of the island just past Kihei, about 30 minutes from Kahului Airport (Maui’s main airport).
