The 1500-acre Wailea Resort was conceived in the 1960’s as an integrated residential resort community. The master planned resort was ahead of its time by being one of the first to put together a community of low-rise condominium and single family villages with hotels, golf courses, tennis, and shopping.

Wailea and Makena sit on the south shore of the island just past Kihei, about 30 minutes from Kahului Airport (Maui’s main airport). Both areas are known for high end luxury living boasting some of the finest golf courses and beaches on the island. The Wailea Community Association acts as the master association and maintains Wailea Resort at the high standards for which it is world-renowned.
