Once the capital of the Hawaiian Islands and the center of the worlds whaling industry, the historic seaside town of Lahaina is the gateway to the beaches, resorts and residential communities of what is known as West Maui.  From the newer single family homes nestled on the sun drenched side of the west Maui mountains, to the oceanfront condominiums located on Lahainas historic Front Street, West Maui is a colorful mix of ocean, island and mountain living.

Just north of Lahaina are the lush tropical resorts of Kaanapali and Napili and the extraordinary Residences of the Ritz Carlton Kapalua. The Kapalua resort is the home of the Mercedes Benz Golf Championship and the world famous Kapalua Wine and Food Festival.

West Maui boasts its own small airport, which offers easy access to the gated communities, newer condominium complexes and ocean front estates the grace the shores of West Maui.
